Forking a Pynt collection allows you to create a personalized version of an existing Pynt collection for API security testing in Postman. This guide will walk you through the steps to fork a collection, enabling you to customize and modify it according to your specific testing needs. By forking a collection, you can experiment with different test scenarios and configurations.
There are 2 ways of starting to integrate Pynt with Postman:
The easiest way is using the Postman wizard: start from Pynt website and just follow the steps.
Another way is to manually fork Pynt from Pynt public workspace @ Postman:
Start from the public workspace (Pynt for Postman).
Fork the 'Pynt' collection to your workspace.
If you wish to have a reference app to test, fork also the 'goat' collection to your workspace.
Open your workspace from the Postman desktop app.
Click on Pynt's collection documentation (right tab icon) and proceed with the instructions.
